Who are we?
We want to create a world which is more connected, inclusive and secure. For over 20 years, we have been operating at the heart of the internet infrastructure as proud guardians of the .UK domain name registry. Our understanding of the Domain Name System (DNS) underpins a sophisticated cyber-security capability used by the UK government and global enterprises to secure their networks. Our commercial success funds an ambitious programme to improve the lives of 1 million young people through technology.
Our Work
We are a world-leading domain name registry. We run .UK - part of the UK's critical national infrastructure - and over 75 top level domains, including .bbc, .wales and .london.
Our experience in running and protecting one of the largest internet registries has enabled us to harness our expertise in DNS to develop world-leading protective DNS solutions. Through our acquisition of CyGlass, we offer Network Defence as a Service (NDaaS) solutions to enterprises.
Technology has the power to transform lives by creating opportunities and providing support where it’s needed most. Our public benefit activity tackles some of the most important digital issues facing young people in the UK today, and since 2008 we’ve donated over £49m to tech for good initiatives.
Our Board
Our Board members are drawn from a wide range of industries, including internet, media, technology, cyber-security and the public sector.
